Columbia College is a fully accredited university offering both undergraduate and graduate programs. The College offers over 30 undergraduate majors, pre-professional programs (medicine, law, counseling), and individualized programs of study. There are also 3 graduate programs – organizational change and leadership, divergent learning (specialized teaching degree), and higher education administration. More than half of Columbia College graduates pursue advanced degrees, including law school or medical school. This is a place for students to excel. In addition to a rigorous liberal arts education, our students receive four years of personalized advising setting them up to graduate with a plan to succeed in their chosen career. As an undergraduate women’s college (all graduate programs are coed), we are uniquely positioned to provide a learning environment where students are focused and independent. Our intentional commitment to leadership and service is well known and nationally recognized.
The campus is conveniently located in the city of Columbia, and our students take advantage of all that Columbia has to offer – internships, vibrant social life, access to mentors, and job opportunities post-graduation. Columbia College is recognized as one of the safest college campuses in the country, and there are officers on duty at all times.

We combine a liberal arts education with leadership skills and real-world experiences to build successful, fulfilling futures for each graduate. Students work one-on-one with professional career coaches and academic advisors beginning in their first-year, are mentored by successful and energetic alumnae and community leaders, participate in multiple internship experiences, and are trained in personal leadership.
