This academic year, IntroAmerica and its partner Shunshunliuxue (and others) are introducing a new scholarship program for Chinese high school students interested in attending a US college , current college students interested in transferring to a US college and college students or college graduates interested in attending a US graduate school.
More and more top-rated US colleges (US News &World Report100 best colleges) who are looking for qualified students from China have been overwhelmed with applications from Beijing and Shanghai and want students from other cities in China. Therefore, IntroAmerica has created a program to help connect colleges with students from Wuhan, Xi’an, Chengdu, Changsha, Zhengzhou, Ningbo, Jinan, Xiamen, Tianjin, Shenzhen, Guangzhou and other cities. IntroAmerica works with selected colleges to identify qualified students for partial and full scholarships. (If you are currently studying in Beijing or Shanghai, but are originally from another city or province, you are still eligible for this program.) This is an on-going program starting in November and continuing until March. We encourage you to return frequently to the IntroAmerica website to learn about new colleges participating in the program and new scholarships being offered.

How do you get started? There are 10 easy steps…
Go to http://bit.ly/1jqolfVto find the most up-to-date information on colleges and scholarships. Also make sure to follow our WeChat Service and Subscription accounts for the latest information.
- Go to http://scholarship.shunshunliuxue.com and create an application profile.
- Choose the colleges you are interested in or select “essay writing only” option.
- Make the payment to finish the application process.
- Select a time slot for essay writing.
- Watch the essay writing and interview training webinars provided by U.S. experts
- invited by IntroAmerica to improve your competitiveness. The link of the training will be sent to you via email automatically after you finish the application process.
- On your test date, go to your personal profile. At the test time your essay question will be given. You have one hour to write essay.
- If you are selected as one of the best essay writers, you will be asked to interview with representatives from U.S. colleges. Instructions will be emailed to you and you will interview via WeChat or Skype.
- If you would like to receive a scholarship you must apply to the college. (for junior students, you can apply for the colleges in Aug or Sep 2016)
- Scholarship winners will be announced in May 2016.
- After the announcement, you should reply if you will take the scholarship or not ( if you decide to take the scholarship, you need to enter the U.S. college)

Following are some key dates in the IntroAmerica Chinese Star Students Search program calendar:
Program Starts: January
- Sign up to create a profile and select an essay-writing date/time
- Essay-Writing and Interviewing Webinars are available
- Each person has the option to write two essays
- Best essay writers win an interview
- First day you can write an essay – 12/18/2015
- Last day to register for Round 2 – 3/1/2016
- Last day you can write an essay – 3/7/2016
- Online Interviews- – 2/22/2016 – 3/24/2016
- Students may be selected for in-person rather than WeChat/Skype interviews. Note: Those who sign up first will have a greater chance of being selected for in-person interviews (only a limited number per city will be selected).

Please Note:
IntroAmerica will use your profile information to identify more colleges that meet your interest and share the information with you and the colleges offering scholarships.
You can continue to return to this site to select more colleges or universities and to apply for scholarships. You can apply for more than one scholarship or college.
Essays are often required for merit-based scholarships. The best essay writers will be selected to continue to the interview round.
Make sure you have provided a working email address and check it often for information about current and new colleges and universities joining the program.
Interviewing Tip – Answer your interviewer’s question truthfully and passionately. Let your personality and interests shine. Your efforts will be graded by the interviewer and presented to those colleges whose representatives are not online to interview you themselves.
Application Tip – Apply as soon as possible to any IntroAmerica program participating colleges that interest you.
