People believe that as long as you are in an English-speaking environment or you watch America tv shows constantly, then you’ll pick up English really quickly. While those are true statements to some extent, there’s something more important for every language learner to acknowledge before spending too much time on America soap opera: the learning of a language is a life-long journey; it is not just about building up skills.
